By this point I'm sure you know my name is Beverly.
I'm a 20 something photographer from Southeast Missouri.
I'm also a mother to a cutie named Brayden, a secretary at Dunklin County Farm Bureau, shopping addict, lover of all things technology, and an ex-Pepsi addict.
I started playing with a camera when I was only 13.
After Brayden was born, I really fell in love. The head over heels type love.
I started photography as only a hobby, with no intent for a business.
The idea slowly starting grasping my mind, and I started my research.
I spent countless hours reading books, browsing the internet, asking questions, e-mailing other photographers, learning all the business lingo, etc.
It took months for me to decide to do this.
I realized my dream was to become a successful photographer, and I wasn't going to let anything stand in the way.
So, I filled out the paperwork, paid all the fees, and decided not to get a big refund at tax time, but instead pay in. WHAT? Yes, it's the head over heels type love.
I wanted to work for myself and live out my dreams no matter what it took.
On October 19, 2012 it became official, "Photography by Beverly" was a real business.
Sometimes I still can't believe it.
I love photography as a business so much more than when it was just a hobby for me.
I love knowing I've helped create memories that someone can cherish for a lifetime.
I love seeing the smile on my client's faces, when I hand them their package of prints.
It's because of my clients that I love what I've created.
It's my clients that make me love my business and what I do.
So from the bottom of my big ole' heart.. Thank you!
