Baby Diva & Little Men Daycare | Children {Kennett, Mo Children Photographer}

I love children sessions, so when I was asked to do "school" pictures for Baby Diva and Little Men Daycare, I was soo excited. A whole group of kids that I get to photograph? I'm there!

This was such a fun session. It's amazing to see the different personalities each kid has, and it all shows in these pictures!

I'm in love!

Wappapelo Lake | Macro {Wappapelo, Mo. Macro Photographer}

Today Brayden and I got a wild hair, to just jump in the car and head to Wappapelo, MO.

I wish we would have to decided earlier in the day, because we didn't get there until almost 6, but we still had such a great time.

While I was there, I just kept spotting the most beautiful flowers, and trees.

So, I got my macro lens out, and went crazy.

You should have seen the positions I was in to get these pictures.

I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

I adore the bokeh effect the sunlight put off through the leaves of the tree in this one.

{Sneak Peek} Madison | Children {Quilin, Mo. Children Photographer}

This was a very fun day for both of us -me & Madison.

Her Daddy wanted these pictures made of her, and of course we all know Daddy's can't do hair & make up (or at least most of them can't). Haha!

So I got the honor of doing Madison's hair & make up.

Our fun started way before the session even begin. After hair and make up, I got to help her pick out an outfit. She wanted to wear a dress, and I love how the purple bounces off of these yellow flowers.

Brianna | Seniors {Hayti, Mo. Senior Photographer}

Oh, how I love senior sessions; dresses, props, and heels. Oh my!

Brianna is definitely a little on the "fashionista" side, which I LOVED. My first thought when meeting with her was, "This little lady did her research!". She had soo many ideas of her own. I was definitely impressed.

This was the first time that I shot at this location. I spotted it about a month ago, and knew it would turn out perfect. Now when I say perfect I usually mean I had this vision in my head & knew the photos would turn out exactly like that, but that wasn't the case at all this time. They turned out completely different than what I had visioned. They were literally 1,000 times better.

Take a look for yourself. Can you say "model in training"?

The Olivia Act Giveaway | Announcements

The Olivia Act, named after one of the children killed in Newtown, CT during the school shooting that took place on 12/14/2012, was started by a photographer who wishes to remain anonymous. Olivia's family had family pictures taken a short time before she was killed. Those pictures are precious and now priceless to them. Upon hearing this, this photographer was moved to give away a thirty minute family photo session and has challenged other photographers to do the same.
We go about our daily lives and sometimes, we don't take the time or have the resources to have family photos taken. Photography by Beverly is giving away a "Simple Portrait Package" to a deserving family in Southeast Missouri, which includes a thirty minute session at the location of the families choice.
This session will be given away by nomination only. If you know of a deserving family that would enjoy this wonderful gift, please send me an email to info@photobybeverly, or send a message to my Facebook page with the family's name, a phone number, or e-mail address where they can be contacted, and the reason why you are nominating them.

I will pick a winner on Christmas Eve night. The winner may wish to remain anonymous, in which case, I will not announce them, but announce that a winner has been chosen.

Annistyn Kate Rackley Photo Auction | Announcements

My heart is very heavy for this special little angel. She is the two month old daughter of Meghan and Trey Rackley. She was diagnosed with a very serious liver disease known as Biliara Atresia on December 1, 2012 and will be undergoing surgery soon.

Medical bills can be very expensive, as well as taking off work to be with a sick child. I can only imagine the stress this puts on their family, on top of having a sick little one. Our whole community has come together to offer love, support, prayers, and donations to help pay for medical and financial needs.

Photography by Beverly is auctioning off a full classic portrait package to benefit this precious little girl and her family. All proceeds will go to them. You will find this photo on my Facebook page. Please comment on the photo to place your bid. Bidding will end December 4, 2012 at 5:00 PM.

Every bid is greatly appreciated.

My prayers are with you & your family Annistyn, Meghan, and Trey. God does amazing things!

{Sneak Peek} Brayden | Children {Kennett, Mo. Children Photographer}

I would like to introduce you all to my little man, Brayden. Today seemed like the perfect day to get some shots of him in a cotton field, before they're all gone. He was very excited, because he loves pictures, just like his Mommy.

We found the best cotton field in Kennett, Mo. (the only one that hadn't been picked yet), and as I'm sure most of you know, getting good shots of a 3 year old isn't an easy task. So, I basically told him to play in the field, and it worked! I think these pictures turned out beautiful. My little guy is so photogenic, and I'm sure you'll see plenty more of him!
